Arrange a Funeral

At Melbourne Tautoko Funerals, we recognize that individuals may not be fully informed on how to navigate the funeral planning process. We prioritize a duty of care for families/whanau and their loved ones. If you require guidance on arranging a funeral for your loved one, please feel free to contact us.

First point of call

After the first point of call your funeral director will make arrangements to meet with the family to discuss the funeral plans.

Planning the funeral service

During your arrangement meeting with the funeral director, you will select what you would like the service to include. This is when you will decide whether your loved one will be buried, cremated or repatriated. This will also include a selection of a coffin and an urn.

Purchase a Burial Plot

If you have chosen to have your loved one buried, you will need to meet with the cemetery and purchase a burial plot. If you have chosen cremation, payment is made directly with your chosen crematorium.

Funeral & Memorial Products

At the conclusion of your arrangement meeting, the funeral director will show you our selection of funeral and memorial products. This includes items such as caskets, coffins, urns, grave and jewellery.
